Summary The Governance Assistant position is designed for a self-motivated individual with a good understanding of business operation and financial processes, business risks, controls, possesses good analytical skills, and can work independently within a team. The Governance Associate will: Provide operational support for governance activities Assist the governance team with periodic governance and risk assessments, and compliance monitoring Document and review policies and procedures Assist in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and support governance initiatives Responsibilities Assist in planning and executing governance assessments, risk assessments, and special assignments Help identify operational risks and propose risk mitigation plans Conduct compliance checks to verify alignment with internal policies and external regulations Assist in drafting and refining governance policies, SOPs, and compliance guidelines Prepare reports summarizing assessment findings and compliance gaps Work alongside HR, Finance, Operations and other departments to integrate governance practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate governance practices across departments Maintain documentation and centralized repositories for governance policies and SOPs Assist in benchmarking governance practices against industry standards Compensation Range $58,000-$63,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection) Benefits of Working at Hyundai GLOVIS America Inc. Master'sDegree Preferred
