How a Network Administrator will make an impact: Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system. Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. May monitor and test website performance to ensure websites operate correctly and without interruption. May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software. May supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists. May administer network security measures to include firewall administration/management. What you'll need to succeed: Required Education and Experience: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree + 6 years experience DoD Approved Baseline 8570/8140 IAT Level II (Sec+, CySA+, CND, or CCNA-Security) certification required prior to start date. Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a CI Polygraph. Location: On Customer Site GDIT is your place.
