CIRCOR Aerospace & Defense specializes in designing, developing, and manufacturing specialty fluid and motion control products for demanding aerospace and defense applications. Our products are used on most commercial and military aircraft, including various types of jets, military transports, fighters, rotorcraft, unmanned aircraft, shipboard applications, and military ground vehicles. The Senior Manager, Business Development, is responsible for selling CIRCOR Aerospace & Defense products within a defined territory and customer base. The role involves managing customer relationships through a consultative sales approach, driving new business, and building customer loyalty and trust. Responsibilities include defining sales and business development strategies, securing design wins, analyzing market trends, demand forecasting, managing business capture, proposal and contract negotiations, and developing market strategies. Activities and Responsibilities

Accelerate Growth:

Develop and execute plans to meet and exceed company growth targets by proactively seeking new business opportunities, leveraging existing accounts, and expanding market share through second-source opportunities to displace competitors. Maximize Sales Impact:

Achieve territory order and program win objectives by navigating the aerospace and defense markets, managing sales pipelines efficiently, and fostering enduring relationships with key customers. Product Development Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with customers and internal teams like engineering and senior management to shape product development roadmaps aligned with customer needs, maintaining a competitive edge and increasing market share. Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Minimum of 10 years' experience in sales and/or marketing within the aerospace and defense sectors, including at least 5 years leading procurement activities for complex projects. Core Competencies

Extensive experience in aerospace and defense sales, with a proven track record of success in securing new business. Proficiency in Microsoft Office for sales forecasting and analysis. Ability to travel up to 50%. Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple efforts, and experience with NPI Phase Gate processes and AS9100 documentation. Experience with Aerospace Design-to-Spec proposals and fluid control products. Excellent communication skills and knowledge of industry standards across the product lifecycle. Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Sales & Marketing, or Engineering is required. Other Requirements
