Overview
Stamford Health is seeking a Full-time Medical Lab Technologist (37.5 hours per week). The role requires rotating weekends and holidays. Under general direction, the technologist is responsible for independently performing and reporting general and/or specialized laboratory tests in accordance with laboratory policies and procedures. Provides technical services and laboratory support information. Responsibilities Perform and report general and/or specialized laboratory tests per laboratory policies and procedures. Provide technical services and laboratory support information as needed. Rotate weekends and holidays as required.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science or related scientific field ASCP registry, registry eligible, or equivalent registry (AMT, NCA, or CLS) Knowledge of principles and practices of laboratory science and minimal computer skills
