A local lady who is legally blind and is a great cane traveller needs assistance for the harsh winter ahead. She is a great bus traveller but taking groceries on the bus during the middle of winter is getting harder as she is getting older.You can help someone while you do your own grocery shopping and make it a team sport! She is an amazing woman with many interests including ceramics and making pillows! Don't miss the chance to be inspired by this woman. Requirements to be a great volunteer include: a desire to help others; a pleasant demeanor; a good reading/speaking voice; average reading skills; organizational or planning abilities; a good driving record; a clear criminal history; two references access to a car with proof of insurance; a minimum of $50/100k liability and $5,000 of property damage coverage This individual would also like to get to worship services on the weekends
