JOB SUMMARY

The Corporate Scheduler provides companywide scheduling expertise and is responsible for facilitating training, advisement and support of the company's scheduling efforts. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Corporate Scheduler interacts and collaborates regularly with the Director of Operations, the Director of Preconstruction, Senior Superintendents, Project Executives and Sr Project Managers. The Corporate Scheduler maintains an awareness of the project status and proactively provides support and advice on schedule related issues during construction execution, planning and for project pursuits.

JOB SCOPE & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Primary Accountabilities Facilitate and develop our scheduling capabilities

Training

Coordinate and manage third party training resources

Advise

Identify and share best practices

Support

Update and maintain Pankow Scheduling Manual Collect, organize and archive past schedules for future reference Collect and update individual activity metrics Develop ASTA templates Collaborate with Operations to maintain and keep current company scheduling standards

Technical

Coordinate with IT scheduling software licenses & maintenance Provide Database Management for Elecosoft Powerproject, Primavera P6, other scheduling software Liaison with scheduling consultants Stay connected with industry, trends & software advancements

4D scheduling integration Last Planner / WWP - Master Schedule integration

Construction Planning (Proposal + Preconstruction Phase)

Develop / maintain standard durations database Create / support preliminary schedule as directed by the Project Executive Create baseline construction schedule for projects Initiate, communication and manage scheduling consultant resources Lead schedule review meetings with project teams and stakeholders

Construction Execution

Proactively advise and make recommendations to the Senior Superintendent and Director of Operations

Train and mentor project team members in scheduling best practices. Assess project schedule to assure compliance with company standards

Assist project team with monthly project schedule updates

Execute monthly project schedule updates, if needed.

Conduct Time Impact Analysis (TIA) and identify potential delays and impacts Support project teams with Client review and comments.

Construction Planning

Scheduling and Construction Sequencing

Strong communication and collaborative skills Continuous Improvement Approach Work Experience:

A minimum of 15 years of industry experience with a focus on scheduling and field experience (has knowledge, experience, and understanding of how to build a building) 10 years of CPM scheduling experience preferred
