Salary

The salary range for this position is dependent on experience level and location. For Connecticut, the salary range is $85,900 to $107,375. For Boston, it is $89,804 to $112,256. Job Summary

Our team plays a crucial role in shaping customer perception and building strong customer relationships. The Marketing team plays a vital role in shaping customer perception and driving engagement through strategic, multi-channel communication. As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing plans that promote a wide range of energy-related products and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling content across web, print, and SMS platforms, ensuring all materials are approved through a regulated process. This role supports the Digital & Customer Experience and Customer Products & Programs departments by delivering impactful marketing campaigns that align with corporate strategy, enhance customer understanding, and contribute to program success. Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote a diverse portfolio of energy-related products and services. Create, manage, and optimize marketing content across digital (web, email, SMS), print, and social media channels. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure all marketing materials align with brand guidelines and strategic objectives. Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using KPIs and analytics tools; recommend improvements based on performance data. Oversee the regulated approval process for all marketing communications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies. Maintain a content calendar and ensure timely delivery of campaigns and promotional materials. Support cross-functional teams with marketing expertise to enhance customer engagement and product visibility. Expected daily work

Draft and edit marketing content for web pages, email campaigns, SMS communications, and printed materials. Coordinate with regulatory and legal teams to route marketing materials through the required approval workflows. Monitor campaign performance metrics and prepare daily/weekly reports on engagement, conversion, and ROI. Respond to content requests from product teams, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all platforms. Manage updates to marketing assets and ensure version control across all channels. Conduct quality checks on all outgoing communications for grammar, tone, and compliance. Liaise with creative teams and vendors to produce high-quality visuals and layouts for campaigns. Proofread content for grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Qualifications

BS/BA Degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications. Demonstrated expertise in the development of marketing communications, client management, project management and organizational skills. Understanding of graphic design, creative development, website management, print production and media venues. Strong prioritization skills needed to manage multiple requesters needs daily, prioritizing regulatory requirements. Strong organizational skills Ability to handle multiple requests from multiple departments over 8 operating companies. Attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications

Deep understanding of customer needs, preferences, and behaviors, as well as ability to empathize with customers and address concerns Vendor management, project management, and stakeholder management experience Knowledge of electric and gas utility customer needs and emerging industry trends Ability to anticipate potential communication challenges and address quickly Change management experience Demonstrated effectiveness facilitating teams across functional areas, operating companies, and globally Competencies (standard for all jobs)
