Workday Compensation Functional Lead

Please note that only qualified candidates will be contacted. Responsibilities: Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of the Workday Compensation module. Translate business requirements into system configurations. Conduct gap analysis and recommend system or process improvements. Configure and maintain compensation templates, guidelines, eligibility rules, and security roles. Act as the functional lead on Workday Compensation projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, IT, and external consultants. Serve as the primary liaison between business units and the technical Workday team. Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and communicate configuration decisions. Train and support HR and Compensation teams. Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and user acceptance testing. Validate data accuracy and system functionality post-implementation. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting. Monitor Workday releases and assess impact. Ensure data integrity through audits and maintenance. Must Have: 5+ years of HR systems experience, with at least 3 years focused on Workday Compensation. Proven experience leading Workday Compensation implementations or major enhancements. Strong knowledge of compensation structures, guidelines, and compliance requirements. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Workday Pro certification or Partner Certification in Compensation (preferred but not always required). Bachelors Degree Preferred: Experience using Rally Agile tool Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders Detail-oriented with strong documentation and process mapping capabilities Comfortable with change management and training delivery Expertise and skills configuring supporting Workday Performance, Workday Security, or Workday Benefits experience.
