St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking multiple Float Pool X-Ray Technologist, Full-Time, Part-Time, Weekends, All Shifts available. The Float Pool Registered X-Ray Technologist will float between several campuses within their hired region. The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures adhering to the principle of radiation protection, according to local, state and federal standards. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Demonstrates competency in the knowledge of the RIS/HIS modules appropriate to their job responsibilities. Properly identifies patient and exam and performs diagnostic radiographic services on patients with the maximum amount of care, while evaluating the technical quality. Accurately adheres to downtime procedures to assure appropriate information is available resulting in excellent continuity of care for patients, also responsible for the success of the department to achieve hospital designated Press Ganey score. Accountable for quality of digital images sent to PACS. Verify correct patient is selected from worklist, ensures accuracy of Medical Record information prior to being sent to PACS. Responsible for successful technical continuity of care and education of radiological procedures to patients. Financial Incentives: $8/hour increase for working within their hired region $10/hour increase for working outside of their hired region $12/hour increase for covering a weekend shift Regions: West: Allentown Campus, Sacred Heart Campus East: Anderson Campus, Monroe Campus, Warren Campus and Easton Campus North: Carbon/Lehighton Campus, Miners Campus and Geisinger St. Luke's Campus South: Bethlehem Campus, Upper Bucks/Quakertown Campus Shift Details: Full time, 40 hours per week Part time, less than 40 hours per week Weekend Shifts: premium weekend rates plus benefits Holiday and weekend requirements per department and company policies Positions may be available on days, evenings, and weekends. Walking or standing for up to 8 hours per shift in 30-minute increments. Pulling, pushing and lifting patients up to 300 pounds with assistance. Listing and moving objects of up to 30 pounds. Frequent stooping, crouching and bending. Frequently lifting arms above shoulder level. Hearing as it relates to normal conversation. Seeing as it relates to normal vision. Education: Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program, or AART registered. Advanced registry in CT required. Training and Experience: Possess a wide skill set. Have one year or more experience in their field. Be flexible with their assignments, including location and hours. Can travel to all campuses.
