As a Senior Principal II Software Architect/Engineering Lead, youll spearhead a talented, cross-functional team, driving innovation with state-of-the-art tools and methodologies. Youll architect sophisticated software solutions using modern C in Linux environments, leveraging frameworks like Kubernetes for containerized deployments, cloud-native architectures, and real-time data processing pipelines. Our team embraces Agile and DevSecOps practices, utilizing tools like the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) and Git for seamless collaboration and CI/CD workflows. Youll have the chance to integrate emerging technologies for signal processing and advanced simulation environments, to push the boundaries of electronic warfare systems. In this leadership role, youll collaborate closely with Systems, Hardware, and Test engineers across all project phasesfrom strategic planning and requirements definition to design, development, integration, and testing. Youll present innovative technical designs at customer interchange meetings, mentor engineers to foster technical excellence, and ensure program success through clear communication and robust processes. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Secret Security Clearance (active within the past few years) Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, and minimum of 10 years work experience or equivalent experience Demonstrated ability to develop, lead, and motivate technical teams Experience in embedded and/or application software development in C in a Linux environment Foundation in Object-Oriented design and implementation principles Software engineering processes, methodologies, and tools Software testing, validation, and verification activities Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Masters degree in computer science or computer engineering Experience with electronic warfare, radar, or communication systems Active CompTIA Security Certification Full life-cycle software development Agile development experience Customer/Subcontractor interfacing Atlassian Tool Suite, ClearCase, Bit Bucket Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
