Overview

ENGIE’s Contract Management Director will be based in Houston, TX and will report to our Vice President of Major Projects and IPOS. In this role you will lead a diverse team of Contract Managers to execute contractual and commercial aspects of small to large-scale construction projects. You will be involved from inception to operation for a diverse portfolio of technology. The Contract Management team is critical in supporting the delivery of capital projects safely, on budget and on time, within Local Energy Infrastructure North America business unit. This position requires a strategic leader who can lead the development and management of complex contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards, and mitigating risks associated with construction agreements. This role includes developing and implementing contract management policies, negotiating terms with contractors and suppliers, and resolving any contractual disputes that arise. The Director will also be responsible for monitoring contract performance, ensuring timely renewals and amendments, and reporting on contract status and compliance to senior leadership. This includes leading the deployment of management systems, procedures, processes, and templates to streamline and industrialize the implementation of projects across the division. Daily you will lead and manage the contracts team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation to create a collaborative and high-performance team environment
