Description
Location: Silver Spring, MD Department: Supply Chain Management Reports to: Supply Chain Manager and Supply Chain Supervisor Job duties include ordering and distributing medical supplies to assigned clinical units using ERP inventory applications (PeopleSoft), supply distributor email and website reporting
Responsibilities
Requesting, receiving, distributing equipment and managing obsolescence; stocking general med-surg supplies in various healthcare settings Work with end users to request supplies, troubleshoot supply issues, and resolve discrepancies Maintain work and supply storage areas and equipment in a clean, organized, safe condition Perform periodic PAR level replenishment to maintain stock levels Serve as frontline Supply Chain support for ordering, data entry, and payment activities Assist Supply Chain Leader with special assignments 70%+ time providing inventory or data support
What You Will Need
High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to complete additional education, training, and competency tests as required
Preferred
Previous Supply Chain experience in a healthcare, warehousing, or distribution environment Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite
Pay Range
Pay Range:
$17.58 - $23.85 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may vary by location. About Us
