CrowdStrike CrowdStrike is looking for a Senior Engineer (Front End SDET) with a passion for quality specializing in Web UI test automation. As a Front End SDET, you will work closely with UI Engineers, UI Test Framework Engineers, and other SDETs to ensure high-quality product releases. CrowdStrike values quality and a great customer experience. We are looking for meticulous Engineers with a strong testing focus who can bring insights throughout the development process. Front End SDETs may help build frameworks, libraries, and tooling used for testing our UI and are responsible for creating automated UI test suites for our Falcon product. We aim to deliver a world-class platform that provides an efficient, reliable, and seamless experience for customers. What Youll Do

Think strategically about test planning and execution for automation tests to ensure quality in your team and across the organization. Verify component, integration and application-level features to ensure reliability, accuracy and performance. Develop and maintain automated test frameworks, scripts, and tools that are reusable and scalable, focusing on end-to-end testing and product performance. Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of a scalable and efficient UI automated testing framework. Build reliable solutions for complex technical problems and review UX design mockups, documents and requirements to understand feature components, details, design, and functionality. Review engineering technical design documents and requirements and work with Engineering to plan how to build in testability. Build tools, frameworks and environments for yourself and peers to facilitate testing and contribute to existing tools and frameworks. Increase and improve automated test coverage and deliver and accept feedback with professionalism. Collaborate with UI Engineering to determine root causes of issues and add automation quality improvements to prevent future problems. Take ownership and accountability for deliverables. What Youll Need

A computer science background or equivalent experience with at least 10 years of experience. Extensive experience with testing tools and best practices (e.g., Playwright and Robot Framework). Proven track record of designing and implementing test automation for large-scale systems, and experience in developing and enhancing test automation frameworks. Demonstrated ability to write high-quality code in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins and GitLab CI). Knowledge of testing methodologies: behavioral, functional, performance, unit, security, contract, etc. Ability to design and develop efficient test strategies and plans; experience creating automated test cases and increasing test coverage. Team player with the ability to lead, mentor, communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a globally distributed team. Experience documenting technical requirements and writing/executing test plans. Attention to detail and organization; courage to champion the user perspective and quality. Pragmatism to prioritize issues effectively. Bonus Points

The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $140,000 - $215,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
