Technical Site Deployment Specialist Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a highly skilled Technical Site Deployment Specialist to oversee the roll-out of electronic health record (EHR) software solutions at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This role requires an execution-minded driver with excellent communication, strong scheduling discipline, risk identification and mitigation abilities, and a passion for improving healthcare through technology for Veterans. The Opportunity
You will use a deep understanding of EHR systems, healthcare IT, project management, and software deployment processes. You will act as a field-facing technical electronic health implementation expert, working independently with information services and applying knowledge, skills, and abilities to ensure EHRM IO prepares for Oracle Health implementation to optimize technical support for the EHRM IO Strategic plan. You will interact with technical, clinical, and other professionals to enumerate requirements from stakeholder groups and apply your knowledge of technical dependencies to advise and participate in the implementation of electronic medical record technologies. You will apply broad principles of computer and information science to the advancement of healthcare, including clinical informatics, and may mentor or supervise employees. Knowledge of the end-to-end deployment process for VA clients in the EHR Modernization (EHRM) program Ability to travel up to 75% of the time Ability to evaluate and improve deployment processes Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical, functional, clinical, programmatic) to ensure successful EHR implementations Ability to create and maintain detailed project plans and timelines Ability to identify project risks Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements Bachelors degree and 5+ years of health IT experience, or 15+ years of health IT experience in lieu of a degree Nice If You Have
Experience with EHR Experience with VA Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or another approved discipline Vetting
