Job Title: CYBER Training Range Engineer Level – Subject Matter Expert (SME) Location – Hurlburt Field, FL, Joint Base San Antonio, TX Job Description X Technologies is seeking a Cyber Training Range Engineer to support the 39th Information Operations Squadron (39 IOS) with experience applying the CYBER Training Range Engineering fundamentals from Hurlburt Field, FL or Joint Base San Antonio, TX.
What You'll Be Doing
Understand the 39 IOS mission, cyber training ranges, and Weapon Systems related to training requirements.
Support mission functions including course management, faculty development, planning, project management, administrative support, facility management, cyber range systems, communications, IT systems, AV systems in unclassified and classified environments.
Purchase and install CTRE hardware and software as requested by the government, ensuring compliance with system requirements and lifecycle management.
Maintain compatibility with current hardware/software, virtual machine compatibility, and curricula.
Support courseware development, repair/replacement of components, and cost-effective training continuity.
Enable scaling to meet increased tasking at multiple locations and classifications, supporting classrooms and virtual machines.
Provision and de-provision training environments, replicate data across networks, and support live backup/restore operations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree or higher
7 years of experience in CYBER Training Range Engineering fundamentals
IAT/M Level 3 Certification (e.g., CASP+, VCP, CISSP, CCNP, GCED, CASP CE)
Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS; current passport or ability to acquire one within 60 days
Clearance: Top Secret/SCI
