Informatica Data Catalog Engineer/Governance Administrator

Torrance, CA. This position is
Onsite . Salary range: $114k-$124k Benefits offered: Medical, Vision, Dental, 401 K
The selected candidate will perform the following duties:
3rd Party Suppliers: Not accepting 3rd party suppliers for this role
Location Details: Torrance, CA
Work Type: Onsite: 5days/week
Top Skills:
1. This person will require 50 - 50 percent on Informatica and AWS Skills
2. 3-5 years of experience in data engineering. Strong experience with distributed data processing (Spark, AWS Glue, EMR, or equivalent).
3. Hands-on expertise with data modeling, ETL pipelines, and performance optimization.
4.Strong hands-on expertise in building and optimizing ETL pipelines into Amazon Redshift
5.Proficiency in Python, PySpark and SQL; familiarity with Iceberg tables preferred
Informatica Cloud Catalog/Governance/Marketplace Administrator/Engineer level person who can help customer Configure Cloud Catalog/Governance/Marketplace with Informatica CDGC and data products from CDGC. configure security and access roles, integrate with SAML/SSO with ticketing services. Should also have strong knowledge experience in CDGC and overall IDMC. Over all IDMC tool experience also required.
Daily Tasks Performed: • Configure security ,Implement Role Based Access Controls and Policy Based Access Controls. • Create and Configure Connections of SAAS platforms, Mainframe, Databases, No SQL , Cloud (AWS S3, Athena, Redshift etc). • Identify the Issues while Creating Connections and Resolve them. • Identify performance Bottle necks when profiling and Resolve them. • Monitor IPU's consumption and automate the consumption reporting to the specific domain teams. • Configure Cloud Marketplace with Informatica CDGC and CDMC to policy-based data protections. • Review Informatica Upgrade schedules , explore the new features and communicate to Technical/Business teams. • Communicate and Coordinate with Business teams on Upgrade timelines/Implementations. • Setup/work with Infra teams to establish AWS ECS/EKS cluster to manage profiling workloads. • Support governance efforts to classify and protect sensitive financial/customer data. • Develop/Create API's to fetch cross region (Japan) metadata/Glossary in North America. • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards and Understanding Governance policies (e.g., GDPR, CCPA,SOX etc). • Setup SAML/SSO, User and Groups • Setup/create Certificates and White listing IP's. • Scan, Profile Metadata Data Catalog and Data Observability • Define Data Quality Rules

Technical qualifying skills: • 6+ years of progressive experience in Informatica Platform Administration. • 5+ years of progressive experience in data Catalog and Governance(CDGC) Administration • 3+ years of progressive experience in Informatica API's. • 3+ years of progressive experience in Informatica data integration. • 2+ years of progressive experience in Informatica data Market Place and Data Access Management tools. • Team player/collaborator who builds relation with customers and team members, earns their trust, and creates influence to meet tactical or strategic objectives. • Collaboration and Communication: Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and effective communication within the team and across departments. Facilitate meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance technical skills and foster innovation. • Strong oral, verbal communication/presentation skills. • Strong domain experience in auto finance: originations, servicing, collections, and customer data. • Strong knowledge overall IDMC Platform.
