About the Role We are hiring a Python Developer to join our client's technology team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading financial services company, contributing to innovative projects and driving technology transformation. You will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining high-performance applications while collaborating in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities Develop object-oriented software using Python, object-oriented databases, and grid computing on a proprietary platform. Design and implement data transfer tools to replicate data from NoSQL datastores to Oracle databases. Build RESTful web services and design interfaces between UI and backend services. Collaborate in the Agile software development lifecycle, including pair programming and daily stand-ups. Enhance, modify, and maintain applications to support evolving business needs. What We're Looking For
5+ years of experience as a Developer with strong expertise in Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI). Hands-on experience with high-volume transactional applications. Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, query optimization, and SQL objects. Strong knowledge of relational and object-oriented databases. Experience with Git version control and Agile development processes. Familiarity with component-based web application frameworks. Preferred: Prior experience in the Banking/Financial industry.
