Overview
iOS Developer with the Customer Engagement Portfolio to develop and maintain a native mobile application for Our Client's customers. This role covers all phases of the mobile app development lifecycle, including discovery, delivery, and support, and integration with customer-facing interfaces with branding for Our Clients three operating companies. The iOS developer will work within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to ensure efficient and collaborative delivery of high-quality mobile applications. iOS Developer Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a native mobile application for Our Client's customers. Lead the mobile app development lifecycle from discovery to delivery and support. Integrate mobile interfaces with branding for Our Clients three operating companies. Translate business requirements into technical requirements and implement new and existing features to enhance functionality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve functionality and quality of the mobile app. Write and execute unit and UI tests to prevent production defects and assist with debugging as needed. Consume APIs, interface with back-end services, implement third-party libraries and APIs, and handle push notifications and native iOS features. Follow best practices for authentication, networking, concurrency, performance, memory management, and security in iOS apps. Use Git for version control, including branching, merging, resolving conflicts, and continuous integration. Utilize Jira to create and modify well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria linked to features and tasks. Identify malfunctions and suggest updates to improve performance and user experience. iOS Developer Requirements
B.S. degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field required. 3-5 years of experience in iOS mobile app development, from coding to publishing on the App Store; utility experience is a plus. Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App Store. Extensive knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit. Strong understanding of the Apple ecosystem and Human Interface Guidelines. Experience converting wireframe models into high-quality user interfaces. Experience consuming APIs, interfacing with back-end services, and integrating third-party libraries and APIs. Experience with push notifications and native iOS features. Knowledge of authentication, networking, concurrency, performance, memory management, and security in iOS apps. Experience using Git for version control and continuous integration. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills; ability to handle multiple tasks independently. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to perform in a team environment with strong communication skills. Ability to create, implement, maintain, and release a high-quality mobile app for optimal user experience. iOS Developer Preferred Experience
Occasional night and weekend work may be necessary. Occasional travel may be necessary. The compensation range for this position is dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location.
