This position requires passing a ServiceNow background screening, USFedPASS (US Federal Personnel Authorization Screening Standards). This includes a credit check, criminal/misdemeanor check and taking a drug test. Any employment is contingent upon passing the screening. We are hiring a Staff Cloud Network Engineer to join our Cloud Network Engineering team. You will design, automate, and engineer secure, scalable, and production-grade network infrastructure across Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This is a hands-on engineering role focused on continuously improving how we deliver and operate cloud networking. You'll collaborate with Systems Engineering, Security Engineering, and Platform teams to build resilient, compliant, and automated network solutions that meet the needs of regulated, large-scale cloud environments. What you get to do in this role: Design & Engineering: Design secure, scalable, and resilient cloud network architectures across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Engineer robust solutions for cloud networking services, including VNETs/VPCs, private connectivity (ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, Interconnect), DNS, UDR, and Load balancing Evaluate and continuously improve network patterns, design methodologies, and deployment strategies in line with evolving cloud capabilities and organizational needs Automation & Delivery: Automate network provisioning using Terraform (multi-cloud support), Ansible, Git (version control system), CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab) Design and develop reusable templates and scalable Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) modules to enable consistent, reliable, and repeatable network deployments across multi-cloud environments. Security & Compliance: Apply cloud-native and third-party network security controls: NSGs, Security Groups, ACLs, segmentation strategies Integrations with Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, and NGINX Work closely with Security Engineering to support isolation, inspection, and compliance standards Collaboration: Partner with Systems Engineering, Security, and Platform teams to align network engineering with application, platform, and security goals Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal standards, design reviews, documentation, and tooling improvements To be successful in this role you have: 10+ years of experience in cloud network engineering, automation, or infrastructure roles Proven hands-on expertise in designing and managing network architectures across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Advanced proficiency in Terraform and Ansible for automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration management Strong understanding of core networking concepts, including Routing, NAT, VPNs, DNS, firewalls, and traffic management Experience with CI/CD workflows, preferably using GitLab Pipeline and Git commands Scripting proficiency in Python and JavaScript Familiarity with integrating and managing security appliances (Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, NGINX) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Technical Stack: Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Networking Services: VNETs, VPCs, Transit Gateway, Virtual WAN, Private Link, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, Cloud Interconnect, Service Endpoints, Route Tables, Load Balancers Security Technologies: Network Security Groups (NSGs), Security Groups, ACLs, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, NGINX Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (multi-cloud), Ansible CI/CD Tooling: Git, GitLab pipelines Scripting Languages: Python, JavaScript Operating Systems: Linux
