A client of Insight Global is seeking a secret-cleared Configuration Management Specialist to join their new award supporting the Navy at
Norfolk Naval station
on a contract-to-hire basis. Day to day responsibilities will include operating and managing network equipment (hubs, routers, switches, bridges, servers, transmission media), conduct queries and develop algorithms to analyze data structures, analyze data sources to provide actionable recommendations, and develop and implement network backup and recovery practices. This role compensates $40-47/hour depending on years of experience, skillset, and education. Required Skills & Experience
CISSP, CDMP, CompTIA Data+, OR Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) certification Essential Functions
Developing and implementing security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data. Conducting risk assessments and vulnerability analyses. Monitoring and responding to security incidents and breaches. Ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies, regulations, and standards. Developing and maintaining security documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines. Collaborating with IT and other departments to ensure the security of systems and data. Conducting security audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks. Providing training and guidance on cybersecurity best practices.
