Overview
This is an in-person seasonal position with full-time benefits through the end of the winter season (April 20). The Town of Snowmass Village is hiring a bus driver to join our Transit team. Position Hourly range: $29.60 - $38.47 $800 end of the season bonus! SkiPass or Recreation Benefit up to $1,600 Note: This position offers benefits consistent with seasonal employment terms; eligibility for year-round insurance is described for eligible employees. Responsibilities
Safely operate a transit vehicle over designated routes in accordance with CDL regulations, Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations, and Town policies. Provide information and services to guests/residents with a positive attitude. Record vehicle condition and passenger boarding activity (may involve simple math). Provide direction/information to customers on a variety of issues; communicate information in person and over a radio. Operate equipment to assist physically challenged individuals. Qualifications
CDL B with air brakes and passenger endorsement Previous driving experience in a truck or bus is desirable Previous experience in a customer service role Defensive Driving training and/or transit coach safety training Medical, dental and vision insurance: 100% premium coverage for the employee; 83% for dependents (seasonal for all employees and year-round for eligible employees) Paid holidays and 8 hours of sick leave accrued per month worked 12 personal hours for absences during the season Recreation benefit of $1,600 for eligible employees (use to purchase ski pass) Employee Assistance Program: 5 sessions per topic with a therapist or coach for you or a family member Free life coaching (up to 5 sessions) for you, spouse and dependents under 26 Life, disability, and accident insurance Snowmass Recreation Center membership discount Free RFTA Bus passes to commute and free employee shuttle About us
