Description
This role is categorized as hybrid, requiring the successful candidate to report to the GM Global Tech Center at least three times per week or as dictated by the business. Please note, this job is not eligible for relocation benefits, and any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the candidate.
The Role
The Warranty Operations organization manages Global Warranty Operations and the GM Labor Information Database. This position involves applying warranties and interacting with various GM groups, including the Labor Time Group, Finance, Safety, Audit, and the Dealer Business Center. It serves as the central point for warranty application for GM warranty claims.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
Problem solve and investigate dealer and internal warranty claim issues, proposing improvements to the system.
Participate in developing and executing requirements and test cases for Global Warranty Management projects.
Manage large-scale initiatives across multiple functions and dealer networks.
Innovate and contribute to future strategies for warranty cost reduction and streamlined claim payments for dealers.
Lead overseas distribution warranty administration.
Maintain electronic key code applications and master data.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
Team player with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
Project management experience.
Engineering or automotive background or equivalent.
Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional and cross-cultural collaboration.
Ability to work independently with limited guidance.
What Can Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
Continuous improvement/OpEx background.
PMP certification.
Strong knowledge of GM Labor Information Database and Global Warranty Management.
Experience with GM warranty claim process and dealer interactions.
