Radiology Tech Neurological Surgery
Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a Radiology Tech for Neurological Surgery in the St. Matthews area. This is a full-time first shift position eligible for a sign-on bonus. The Radiology Tech will work under the direction of the Practice Manager and assist with daily patient care and office processes. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Performs radiographic exams as required with general equipment, C-arm, portable, and others as needed. Transports patients to and from the exam room as necessary. Assists in maintaining cleanliness and order in the department. Manipulates computerized image data to obtain interpretive information, filmed images, and archiving. Responsible for all records and charting of information related to individual cases. Adheres to dress code and completes all QA requirements. Practices universal precautions and utilizes personal protective equipment. Collects patient histories and other related information, coordinating and communicating with the radiologist and all others as needed. Assists in other areas of the department as needed. Carries out additional duties as assigned. Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
