The Brand Engagement Associate brings the brand to life across digital, social, and community channels. This role is responsible for creating compelling content, managing social platforms, and activating brand ambassadors to amplify reach and authenticity. In addition, the position supports public relations, internal communications, and sponsorship activations to grow awareness and strengthen community ties. Success in this role requires a creative storyteller who is equally skilled at execution - organized, collaborative, and ready to connect with audiences online and in-person.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Content Creation
Create and publish engaging content, including posts, stories, reels, graphics, and videos
Maintain brand voice, tone, and visual identity consistently across all formats
Repurpose and adapt content for different platforms and audiences to maximize reach and efficiency
Partner with internal stakeholders to translate business objectives into compelling stories and visuals
Manage timelines for creative deliverables to ensure alignment with campaign calendars
Social Media Management
Develop and manage the content calendar across all social platforms
Publish engaging content, including posts, stories, reels, graphics and videos
Monitor engagement, respond to followers, and manage user-generated content (UGC)
Capture and share social content from events to boost visibility and engagement (including live feeds)
Track trends, platform updates, best practices, and performance analytics to optimize content
When necessary, secure and manage external agencies or freelancers.
Monitor and escalate customer concerns or potential reputation issues to customer care as needed (e.g. damaging comments, actions, situations)
Brand Ambassador & Community Engagement
Manage influencer and brand ambassador partnerships, including outreach, content approvals, and tracking
Curate and amplify community content to extend brand reach and authenticity
Identifying and recruiting new brand ambassadors who align with brand values.
Creating onboarding resources to set expectations and ensure consistent representation.
Fostering brand-related conversations in local communities (events, groups, forums).
Public & Internal Communications Support
Assist in drafting press releases, media outreach, and coverage tracking
Support internal communications including employee announcements and leadership messaging
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure message consistency across touchpoints
Project Coordination & Reporting
Maintain calendars, trackers, and content libraries
Support budget tracking, invoicing, and vendor coordination
Provide performance recaps and recommendations across social, PR, events, and influencer programs
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with social media, content, creative, and communications teams to amplify events, sponsorships, and PR efforts across channels
Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to align messaging and branding across touchpoints
Support internal communications needs related to events or company announcements
Requirements:
23 years of experience in content creation, social media, communications, PR, or brand marketing
Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills
Familiarity with social platforms, tools and performance analytics
Experience supporting live events or branded activations a plus
Highly organized, deadline-driven and adaptable to shifting priorities
Able to build relationships across teams, vendors, and community partners
Comfortable on-site, on-camera, and behind-the-scenes when needed
