Job Description As part of our growth, HedgeServ seeks future leaders who are decisive, energetic, and proactive. We are looking for college graduates eager to make an immediate impact on our successful team. The Middle Office team handles trade support activities for our hedge fund and private equity clients, including electronic trade capture, confirmation, settlement, cash and collateral management, T+1 break resolution, technology development, and valuations. This role offers exposure to diverse financial markets and complex derivative instruments. Successful candidates will take on significant responsibilities within six to twelve months, such as managing client relationships, onboarding new clients under senior guidance, and participating in cross-team projects. Role Responsibilities Provide trade support for multi-billion dollar hedge funds, including trade capture, confirmation, reconciliation, operational reporting, and client queries. Support OTC documentation and settlement processes as needed. Apply client-specific pricing to accurately value portfolios. Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and brokers to ensure efficient daily cash and position reconciliations, mitigating risk and meeting deliverables. Monitor and process all product lifecycle events. Develop innovative technological solutions in collaboration with our business development team to address client requests. Prerequisite Knowledge, Skills, and Experience 2-5 years of experience in middle office or trade support roles. Knowledge of industry platforms such as MarkitWire, DerivServ, Markit Trade Manager, TRM, Traiana Harmony, Bloomberg, DTCC/Icelink, PB Portals is advantageous. Exposure to various financial products, including complex derivatives like Mortgage-Backed securities, IRS, Swaptions, Basis Swaps, Variance/Volatility Swaps, FX Options, TRS, Futures, CDS, Equities, Options, Bonds/REPOs. Intermediate Excel skills required. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate actions clearly, identify root causes, and propose improvements.
