Lead the preparation of conceptual and detailed estimates for multifamily and/or commercial base building projects Analyze project documents, drawings, and specifications to accurately determine scope and cost Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to develop budgets and pricing strategies Manage bid solicitations, scope reviews, and estimate reconciliations Leverage cost databases and historical data for benchmarking and value engineering Participate in preconstruction meetings, design development reviews, and presentations Contribute to proposal writing and competitive bid submissions Maintain strong market awareness, especially within the Richmond area, including trade partner relationships MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. Bachelor's Degree
in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field 7 to 15 years
of estimating experience; open to mid-level candidates with significant relevant experience Experience with
multifamily and/or commercial base building
projects is preferred Strong knowledge of
construction methods, scheduling, contract types, and preconstruction strategies Demonstrated network and subcontractor relationships in the
