Cemtek Systems Inc . **Job Description** CEMS Analyzer Field Service Technician General Responsibilities: Perform calibration, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair on gas analyzers and analytical instrumentation in continuous emission monitoring systems. Maintain logs and documentation for repairs and preventative maintenance. Work independently on moderately complex assignments, calibrating instruments and resolving problems. Follow quality assurance and quality control procedures. Work at various locations including oil refineries, chemical plants, power generation facilities, and industrial sites. Specific Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Service Manager or Site Supervisor, perform duties safely. Identify and report unsafe work environments. Work with logic diagrams, electrical and mechanical drawings, and written instructions. Complete preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance to improve system operation. Troubleshoot and analyze instrument, control, and system problems. Maintain records of readings, test results, and maintenance activities. Experience and Skills Required: Minimum of 2 years of experience working with CEM systems and analyzer platforms from manufacturers like ABB, Siemens, Rosemount, Teledyne, Thermo. Experience with CEMS or quick acquisition of knowledge about CEMS and related products. Knowledge of environmental compliance requirements (e.g., 40 CFR Part 75, Part 60, SCAQMD RELCAIM). Experience with industrial electrical instrumentation, controls, mechanical skills, and test equipment. Ability to read electrical prints and manuals. Proficiency with microcomputers, Word, Excel, Outlook. Strong interpersonal skills, troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical skills. Ability to work overtime, respond to call-ins, lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, and work outdoors. Willingness to travel, including overnight trips. Valid driver’s license and insurability.
