Riddell is seeking a highly skilled
Senior Hybris Technical Developer
to join our growing Digital Commerce team. This role is instrumental in driving the development and enhancement of our
SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris)
platform for both B2B and B2C experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance, and highly personalized digital storefronts that align with Riddell's vision of sports innovation and customer-centric commerce.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Development, Support & Integration
Design, develop, and maintain features and enhancements in
SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris 2205+) Build and manage complex integrations with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Salesforce, OMS, PIM, and external payment/shipping providers Implement advanced customizations to Product, Cart, Checkout, Order Management, and Customer Service modules Build scalable APIs using
OCC (OmniCommerce Connect)
and support headless commerce models
Project Delivery & Technical Leadership
Lead technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews Translate business and UX requirements into technical design documents Work closely with DevOps to enable CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
Testing, Performance & Troubleshooting
Conduct unit and integration testing, performance tuning, and code optimizations Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues with high urgency Implement robust monitoring and logging strategies for error visibility
Required Qualifications:
5+ years
of hands-on experience in
SAP Hybris development Strong programming skills in
Java, Spring, and Spring MVC Experience with
Hybris extensions, ImpEx, FlexibleSearch, and HAC/Backoffice Knowledge of cloud platforms like
SAP Commerce Cloud is desirable Strong knowledge of
Java, Spring, J2EE, REST APIs , and Microservices architecture Experience in
B2B and B2C storefronts , ideally in the sporting goods, apparel, or consumer retail industries Hands-on with
Hybris backoffice, SmartEdit, ImpEx , and custom workflows Experience with
SAP Commerce Cloud
in
public cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS)
is preferred Familiarity with
S/4HANA, SAP CAR, SAP CPI, and BTP
integrations is a plus Deep understanding of personalization, promotions, and complex product catalog structures
Preferred Skills:
Experience with
headless commerce frameworks , GraphQL, and Progressive Web Apps (PWA) Prior use of
Dynatrace
or other monitoring tools Contribution to open-source Hybris extensions or participation in SAP forums is a bonus
Soft Skills:
