Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year
Our Engineering Firm specializes in providing structural design, engineering, and calculations for a wide variety of construction projects. We work on a variety of wood, steel, concrete, masonry, cold form steel, and aluminum projects. Our team is passionate about what we do and always strives to be a collaborative and innovative firm. We also have the ability to provide our clients with complete design packages, including architectural, electrical, mechanical, and civil design along with geotechnical surveys and site surveys.
We are looking for a Project Manager, Structural Engineering for our Mission Viejo location who is motivated and passionate about Engineering as well as the communities we serve.
As a Project Manager with your Professional Engineer license in CA, you are excited to come to work each day to lead your team of Civil Engineers or Structural Engineer and Drafters to success.
You'll motivate your team and utilize their skills to successfully complete projects. You produce structural analysis, designs, calculations, and details in an accurate and timely manner. Your understanding of contractual language assists you as you review project contracts, change orders, scopes of work, and other contract documents.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering with a Structural or Civil emphasis
· Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of California - Civil or Structural
· 5+ years of Structural Engineering design experience
· Management experience (experience leading teams)
· Experience performing structural engineering calculations for residential, commercial, education, and/or solar
· AutoCAD 2015 (or newer) 2D experience
· Working knowledge of Enercalc and RISA
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Adobe
