We are a small, fully remote team that relies heavily on Microsoft 365 and other collaboration tools to deliver client work.Role SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Microsoft 365 Administrator and IT Support Specialist to provide part-time, ongoing technical support. This role is ideal for an independent contractor who enjoys solving problems, streamlining technology workflows, and helping teams use their tools more effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesMicrosoft 365 Administration:Manage user accounts, permissions, licenses, and security groupsConfigure Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive settings as neededProvide guidance on Microsoft 365 best practices and securityGeneral IT Support:Troubleshoot issues with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)Assist with integrations and workflows between tools such as OneDrive, Dropbox, and Monday.comProvide light technical support for other cloud-based tools used by the teamProactive Maintenance:Monitor for potential issues and recommend solutions before they become problemsSuggest improvements to processes, permissions, and security configurationsDocumentation & Communication:Maintain clear documentation of changes and solutionsCommunicate with non-technical team members in plain, approachable languageQualificationsProven experience administering Microsoft 365 (licenses, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, Microsoft Office, and cloud platformsFamiliarity with Monday.com, Dropbox, and other common small-business tools a plusAbility to work independently and respond promptly to requestsExcellent communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-oriented approachContractor ExpectationsRespond to support requests within agreed-upon timeframes (e.g., 2448 hours)Track hours and provide monthly invoice for work completedMaintain confidentiality and follow organizational security practicesBring forward recommendations for improving IT systems and processes
