OverviewChannelscaler is seeking a dynamic, data-driven, and strategic Vice President of Revenue Marketing/Demand Generation to spearhead the development of a world-class demand generation engine. You\'ll play a pivotal role in accelerating our growth trajectory by building scalable marketing programs that generate high-quality leads, nurture prospects, and fuel our sales pipeline. This is a high-impact position for a proven leader who thrives in fast-paced SaaS environments and has a track record of transforming marketing teams into revenue-generating growth engines.As VP of Revenue Marketing, you will collaborate closely with sales, product, and customer success teams, and align marketing strategies with our ambitious revenue goals. Your primary focus will be on architecting and optimizing a demand generation ecosystem that leverages data-driven insights, multi-channel campaigns, and innovative tactics to achieve consistent, predictable growth.Key ResponsibilitiesDemand Generation Leadership: Design, implement, and scale a comprehensive demand generation engine, including inbound and outbound strategies, ABM (account-based marketing), content syndication, webinars, SEO/SEM, paid social, email marketing, and performance advertising to drive MQLs (marketing qualified leads) and SQLs (sales qualified leads).Pipeline Ownership: Take accountability for marketing-sourced and influenced pipeline targets, ensuring clear attribution to ARR growth.Team Building and Management: Build a high-performing demand generation team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration. Set clear KPIs, provide ongoing coaching, and ensure alignment with company objectives.Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute annual plans, budgets, and roadmaps that support 25-50% growth targets. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities and refine go-to-market strategies.Performance Optimization: Establish robust analytics frameworks using tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, Marketo, or similar to measure campaign effectiveness, ROI, and attribution. Continuously test, iterate, and optimize programs to improve conversion rates, pipeline velocity, and reduce CAC (customer acquisition cost).Content and Brand Marketing: Oversee the creation of compelling content strategies that position Channelscaler as a thought leader, including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and video content. Work across the organization to enhance brand visibility through PR, events, and partnerships.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales to refine lead handoff processes, with product to inform messaging and launches, and with finance to ensure marketing investments align with revenue forecasts. Champion strong sales-marketing alignment, ensuring seamless funnel progression from MQL to closed-won revenue.Innovation and Experimentation: Stay ahead of industry trends in B2B SaaS marketing, experimenting with emerging channels (e.g., AI-driven personalization, intent-based marketing, partner-led demand generation) to maintain a competitive edge.RequirementsExperience: 10+ years in marketing leadership roles within B2B SaaS companies, with at least 5 years in a senior position (VP or Director level). Proven success in building and scaling demand generation programs that have driven significant ARR growth (e.g., from $10M to $50M+).Expertise: Deep knowledge of demand gen best practices, including funnel optimization, ABM, and martech stacks (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, Google Analytics, SEMrush, 6sense). Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making and A/B testing.Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build and inspire teams in high-growth environments. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative mindset.Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.Skills: Proficiency in marketing automation, CRM systems, and BI tools. Strategic thinker with a bias for action, creativity, and results orientation.
