The SVP, Global Business Development, will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for building and executing a global commercial strategy that aligns with our growth objectives. This role requires a proven leader with deep experience in the CRO and Biologics sectors, a strong global network, and the ability to scale a business development organization. Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the global business development strategy for Biologics services. Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing international BD team. Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition, strategic partnerships, and key account expansion. Develop and nurture long-term relationships with senior decision-makers across biotech, pharma, and life sciences. Partner with the CEO and executive team to set commercial goals and align resources. Oversee the development of innovative go-to-market strategies and client value propositions. Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to ensure commercial differentiation. Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and client forums to elevate brand visibility. Requirements
15+ years of commercial leadership experience in the CRO, CDMO, or Biologics space. Strong track record in global business development, strategic partnerships, and revenue growth. Proven success in leading and scaling business development teams in a high-growth environment. Deep understanding of Biologics development and the needs of biotech and pharma clients. Established network of senior-level industry contacts. Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a small/mid-size, fast-paced CRO environment. East Coast US preferred (flexible for the right candidate). What is on Offer
