The Guest Services Attendant is responsible for providing excellent client service to our internal and external guests. This role coordinates conference room and office space management in conjunction with team members to ensure all needs are met; from providing catering, equipment, supplies, videoconferencing, and set-up and resetting of rooms. The Guest Services Attendant works under general supervision and relies on initiative and pre-existing guidelines to perform the essential functions outlined below. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Provide quality customer service and an enjoyable experience for clients while seamlessly executing daily operations. Prepare for the day by reviewing the schedule, familiarizing with expected guests, and anticipating needs using tools scheduling and CRM tools. Schedule conference rooms and coordinate all aspects pertaining to meeting logistics for guest building passes, name tags, catering, audio-visual, security, and other requests through the reservation system; and assist other personnel with using the application as needed. Greet all Firm visitors including clients, attorneys, applicants, maintenance/repair persons, and direct scheduled visitors to the appropriate attorney or staff member in accordance with Firm policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with the Hospitality team and support preparation and maintenance of conference rooms including delivery and set-up of food, beverages, conference equipment, and supplies; ensuring timely breakdown and cleaning after meetings; and perform basic maintenance of equipment. Administer catering invoices with appropriate attorney and client numbers for all food and beverage requests. Maintain professional appearance of lobby, reception area, conference rooms, and all client-facing areas by monitoring cleanliness and orderliness. Follow standard security policies and procedures in coordination with building security. Assist travelers in the local office by providing recommendations and interfacing with McDermotts travel provider. Work alongside and coordinate with other teams including Events, Business Development, Facilities, Office Services, IT, and Hospitality. Job Specifications: High school diploma or equivalent. At least two (2) years of related work experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to promptly begin working at scheduled time. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and pivot as necessary. Ability to communicate in a friendly, approachable, professional, and high-level client-service-oriented fashion. Ability to work flexible and/or additional overtime hours and weekend as needed. Overtime may be requested for specific events, which will be communicated ahead of time. Target Hiring Range $53,000 - $66,000 Please note that quoted salary ranges are not guarantees of what final salary offers may be. Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
