The Inventory Clerk is a key member of the Warehouse Operations team responsible for all aspects of inventory control; to include receiving, shipping, accounting for movement and shrinkage. Essential functions: Ensure proper product rotation. Enter and maintain all inventory transactions. Check incoming and outgoing loads for accuracy. Verify BOL's, inventory transaction reports, and loading reports for accuracy. Verify BOL's against billings. Manage inventory transfers between warehouses. Review product for date coding. Take daily inventory count and process to host system. Resolve any discrepancies with proper parties. Check all built pallets prior to loading on delivery vehicles. Calculate and record inventory transactions dealing with product rework. Required to complete other activities assigned by supervisor. Other requirements: Vision (Near, Distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth) Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Slip Resistant Shoes and any other PPE required as a result of a job hazard analysis. All tasks within the warehouse are physically demanding and labor-intensive. Employees within this role are required have the ability to: stand, walk, stoop, reach and climb up and downstairs throughout shift as well as the ability to work in a fast paced and warm environment, especially during summer months. Required education and experience: Education: High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate); Required Experience: None Certifications and Licenses: Must be able to be forklift certified through Buffalo Rock. Other requirements: Basic knowledge of equipment /tools needed to fulfill the needs of the essential tasks.
