Now Hiring Shipping And Receiving Clerk
The Shipping And Receiving Clerk will be responsible for loading and unloading merchandise from trucks and containers using a fork truck. This role also involves fulfilling orders by using packing slips, which includes cutting materials to specified lengths. The clerk will operate power tools such as miter saws, drill press, and battery-operated tools, inspect and verify shipments, and organize and store merchandise in the warehouse. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment and adhering to safety regulations is essential. The role also involves operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Responsibilities: Load and unload merchandise from trucks and containers using a fork truck. Fulfill orders utilizing packing slips, including cutting material to specified lengths. Operate power tools such as miter saws, drill press, and battery-operated tools. Inspect and verify incoming and outgoing shipments. Organize and store merchandise in the warehouse. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow safety regulations and procedures. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Essential Skills: Experience in production, general labor, assembly, inventory, shipping and receiving. Proficiency with kitting, picking, and using RF scanners. Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience in material handling, order picking, and shipping and receiving. Why Work Here?
