The Impact You'll Make in this Role As an Administrative Assistant in Brookings, SD you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Support Brookings, South Dakota operations by handling a wide variety of administrative duties as delegated. Act independently on standard procedures and handle non-routine situations through interpretation of office guidelines and administrative practices. Provide input on work procedures. Propose solutions to administrative concerns. Seek input from supervision as needed. Schedule meetings; coordinate calendars; visitors, and travel; participate in the community relations team; process recognition authorizations and purchase meals and refreshments for plant meetings or visits. Manage fleet vehicles at the site and coordinate requests to travel from Brookings plant. Knowledge of general business concepts and ability to apply to general organizational goals and complete assignments as well as identify and implement improvements that are of a complex administrative support nature. Provide back up support to site reception and gowning. Manage Outlook mail lists for the site as well as conference room calendars. Interact with corporate counterparts to coordinate visits to the plant. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND Minimum of (5) five years of experience in an administrative assistant function, secretarial and/or clerical role in a private, public, government or military environment Work location: Onsite- Brookings, SD, United States Travel: May include up to 10%[domestic/international] Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status) Supporting Your Well-being Solventum offers many programs to help you live your best life
