We are currently seeking a Shipping Coordinator for our Batavia, Illinois facility. This position will be on the 1st shift which is 8:30AM-5:00PM, Monday through Friday. Pay rate is $20.00/hr and up, depending upon experience. Benefits include: Eligible for medical benefits on your first day! They make sure orders are delivered in a timely manner by identifying carriers, approving invoices, following timetables, collaborating with customer service representatives, suppliers, and business partners, and maintaining shipping records. Key Responsibilities: Follow all safety and company policies established. Responsible for housekeeping and 6S in assigned workspace. Managing the relationships between shipping merchants and traders. Liaising between clients and shipping companies to resolve any complaints. Preparing/maintaining shipping quotes for customers and reports for the AP Invoicing Team Coordinating warehouse staff to enable effective land-based product shipping. Reviewing shipments and processing changes, returns and cancellations. Determining the most efficient methods of shipping and routes for courier services Scheduling loads and processing shipping paperwork. Other duties and projects as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Minimum required KSAs for the job regardless of level Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and concisely. Attention to detail and good reasoning skills to spot errors quickly and report them to relevant staff. Customer-oriented mindset and excellent interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills. Proficiency with industry-standard computer packages such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED Ability to lift 55 lbs. Ability to exhibit math and literacy skills, attention to detail, and computer competencies.
