Emergency Department Receptionist
The Blodgett Emergency Department is a certified Primary Stroke Center, Level III Trauma Center, and Geriatric Emergency Department (Level 2). There are over 30 care spaces to treat patients with minor to major medical and traumatic emergencies. Interdisciplinary team members collaborate closely to provide relationship-based care for our patients and their loved ones. The Blodgett ED has over 43,000 visits a year and ranks highly in patient experience and exceeds throughput measures compared to the national average. Set within a quiet, beautifully maintained property of mature trees and healing gardens. We have a history of providing high quality, compassionate and personalized medical care. Since 1846, Blodgett Hospital has earned a reputation for excellence as a community and teaching hospital. We provide patient-focused inpatient care in 248 private patient rooms and outpatient services for medical, surgical and specialty care, achieving high rates of patient satisfaction. Performs receptionist/secretarial duties and maintains confidential records, supplies and equipment per hospital and unit specific standards. Greets and directs guests on the unit in a manner that reflects a welcoming environment. Performs computer entry, schedules tests/procedures, processes orders, and performs other related activities per unit/hospital standard within a reasonable time frame.
