Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA)
Location: NovaCare Chevy Chase, MD Setting: Outpatient Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Vestibular, and Concussion Status: Full Time 40 hours Sign on bonus and/or indefinite loan help available At NovaCare Chevy Chase, every physical therapist assistant's journey becomes a testament to excellence, innovation, and life-changing patient care. We are open to considering physical therapist assistants of all experience levels, able to support a new graduate licensed physical therapist assistant (LPTA) with a defined mentorship program. We treat a diverse population of teens through geriatrics with specialty services to include vestibular and concussion programs on top of general orthopedics and sports medicine. Schedule: Full time 40 hours treating until 700PM twice a week. Last patient is scheduled an hour prior to close. Early days begin at 730A. Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff. Qualifications: College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process) CPR certification
