Central Health Unit Coordinator
Under the direction of the manager or designee supports the functions of the unit/area by performing receptionist and clerical duties. Responsibilities include: Maintaining the medical record in good form. Communicating effectively using established systems/protocols. Communicating effectively with ancillary departments. Maintaining unit supplies/forms appropriately. Assuming responsibility for professional development of self and contributing to and assisting with the professional development of others. Other duties may be assigned. Position Compensation Range: $15.00 - $21.16 Hourly Minimum Requirements: Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent. Experience: No experience required. Licensure: None. Physical Demands: Job requires sitting for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills; attention to detail and ability to write legibly; ability to lift/push/pull. The University of Virginia is an equal opportunity employer.
