Job Title
Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality rehabilitation services under the supervision of a therapist. Essential Functions
Assists the therapist in the provision of rehabilitation services under the direction of a therapist, consistent with department policies and procedures. Informs patients and significant others about treatments being received, equipment being used, and other related activities. Performs clerical duties such as answering telephones, scheduling patients, patient registration, processing physician orders, computer data entry/retrieval, completing forms, documenting communication/care, and preparing patient charts. Participates in selected department quality monitoring activities. Schedules patients for revisits. Cleans equipment/work area/patients environment. Attends appropriate meetings and conferences. Provides transportation of the patient/client using the employees personal vehicle. Maintains inventory of materials, forms, and supplies according to departmental standard. Qualifications
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred: 6 months of relevant experience Required: Successful completion of competency based and on the job training orientation program Required: CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Required: LIC-Drivers License - STATE_MI State of Michigan Primary Location: SITE - Rehab & Nursing Leffingwell - 1001 Leffingwell - Grand Rapids Department Name: Resource Rehab - GR Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day (United States of America) Weekly Scheduled Hours: 8 Hours of Work: 8:00am - 4:30pm Days Worked: Monday - Friday Weekend Frequency: Variable weekends
