An employer is looking for a results-driven IT Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new case/care management system for their state agency. This individual will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery. The role involves coordinating internal teams and managing outsourced vendors and development partners to ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key responsibilities include:
• Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Leading cross-functional teams and facilitating collaboration across business, technical, and vendor stakeholders.
• Managing vendor relationships, ensuring contract compliance, and tracking performance.
• Identifying and mitigating project risks, resolving issues, and managing change control.
• Providing regular updates to stakeholders and executive leadership through reports and meetings.
This is a high-visibility role requiring strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure a smooth and successful system implementation.

Required Skills & Experience • 5+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager • Proven experience managing IT system implementations, preferably in case or care management domains • Demonstrated ability to manage third-party vendors and distributed development teams • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and various PPM tools such as Monday.com Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Previous experience in the public sector PMP or related certification
