Savage Sports Center Supervisor
Performs routine to moderately difficult work in the care, maintenance and operation of the Savage Sports Center. Expected Hiring Range: $22.80/hour - $24.66/hour Full Salary Range: $22.80/hour - $30.03/hour Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Assist in scheduling part-time employees to ensure that the Sports Center is appropriately staffed at all times and according to scheduled events. Contact outside organizations to see if they are interested in renting time at the Sports Center. Provide tours and information to prospective customers. Assist in staff training of the facility. Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner. Accept payments and process transaction. Advise customers of the appropriate procedures to reserve facility time and respond to questions regarding facility availability. Check people/teams in for reserved time and direct to appropriate field. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning work as necessary. Ensure Savage Sports Center rules are being followed by guests. Keep the lobby area and fields picked up and clean at all times. Perform semi-skilled custodial work including sweeping, mopping, maintain supplies in restroom, general cleaning of restroom facilities and other related facilities and equipment. Remove snow from front entry-way sidewalk and adhere to and promote safety rules and regulations. Alert appropriate public safety personnel in the event of a medical emergency, unruly behavior, domestic disturbance or fire and document incidence. Monitor building equipment including lighting, heating and air system and alert appropriate personnel in the event of a system failure. Work cooperatively with other divisions and department in the maintenance of the Savage Sports Center. Minimum Qualifications
High school graduation or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the work. Possession of or ability to obtain a valid Minnesota driver's license. Have a working knowledge of RecTrac software. Operate a cash register. Understand and follow orders and written instructions. Work independently in the absence of a supervisor. Maintain regular attendance. Operate related equipment common to the work. Desirable Qualifications: Previous experience working in similar fields, including management or supervisory experience. First Aid or CPR certification. Supplemental Information
