Accounts Receivable Specialist
The Accounts Receivable Specialist for the Consumer Channel is entrusted with ensuring the timely payment of invoices and resolving deductions on open accounts for the Consumer Division. With experience, the specialist will have the opportunity to manage larger accounts, contributing significantly to the financial operations and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Ensure timely payment of invoices for Consumer Division accounts. Resolve deductions on open accounts efficiently. Manage larger accounts with experience gained. Set up and maintain customer accounts. Collect receivables within terms. Communicate effectively with both external customers and internal personnel. Essential Skills: High School diploma or equivalency. 1-5 years of experience in accounts receivable management and collections. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly advanced Excel skills. Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills. Effective communication abilities. Initiative and self-direction in task completion. Teamwork and interpersonal skills. Flexibility and adaptability to internal processes and change. Ability to work extended hours, including overtime as required. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Associates Degree. Work Environment: The Accounts Receivable team operates within the Finance division for Consumer Brands. The team is responsible for setting up customer accounts, maintaining customer information, and collecting receivables within terms. The work environment is dynamic, requiring adaptability and the ability to handle unexpected events. Extended hours and overtime may be required as per business needs. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
