Endodontics Assistant Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our dental practice as an assistant in endodontics. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a specialized field of dentistry, with the potential for a permanent position. Responsibilities Assist the endodontist during procedures, including root canals and other complex dental treatments. Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials for patient care. Ensure the operatory is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays). Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments. Schedule Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Wednesdays: 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM Occasional Saturdays: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Compensation The pay rate for this position is $26 per hour. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 6 months of dental experience required. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and procedures. Basic understanding of dental terminology is a plus but not required.
