Help process administrative actions using automated systems. Maintain organizational records in accordance with regulatory requirements. Review correspondence for submission to higher echelons. Preserve stock levels of organizational equipment. Monitor employee training programs. Enforce policies established by higher Headquarters. This position requires active membership as a soldier in the U.S. Army Reserve (USAR). Successful completion of Unit Pay Administrator Course within 18 months of appointment. Successful completion of Unit Administrator Basic Course within 18 months of appointment. The duties of this position may require the incumbent to work evenings, nights, holidays, and/or weekends to include modification in shifts and/or tour of duty. Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. This position is subject to Drug Abuse Testing Program requirements. This position is subject to the Lautenberg Amendment/Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06). This job does not have an education qualification requirement. Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
