The medical assistant will serve as the first point of contact for patients and guests at the primary care office. This role is central to ensuring a welcoming environment and supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey. Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for patients and guests, providing a welcoming environment. Support patients throughout their healthcare journey. Utilize EMR and electronic health records to manage patient information effectively. Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently. Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and guests. Essential Skills
Certified Medical Assistant (or willingness to obtain certification) 3-5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant Strong phlebotomy skills Experience with eCW EMR systems Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred Ability to take initiative and manage tasks independently Organized and detail-oriented Team player with flexibility to adapt to changing environments Work Environment
The role is 100% onsite in a team environment at a clinic open Monday through Sunday. The team consists of 6 physician providers and 7 medical assistants. Schedule is Mon-Wed 8am-8pm Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Loxahatchee Groves, Florida. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00-$20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
