The job: As a Pool Guest Attendant at Mandalay Bay, you'll be the shining star of our vibrant aquatic paradise, creating unforgettable experiences with your warm smile and impeccable service! By connecting with guests and understanding their unique stories, you'll craft WOW moments that transform ordinary days into extraordinary memories. The starting rate: $13.00 hourly The day-to-day: Welcome guests to the pool and the MGM Resorts family by providing memorable service, anticipating guest needs, assisting with seating, cabanas or general pool information Respond to and resolve guest complaints, exceed guest expectations and provide other supporting services Complete opening/closing duties while maintaining the appearance of the pool deck throughout the shift, assist with desk and towel duties, assist with setting up cabanas, maintain the appearance of the pool deck throughout the shift including straightening chairs, collecting soiled towels and trash, moving chairs, and all other duties Provide CPR or first aid if needed and follow emergency protocols Participate in pool safety programs, training, and ensure overall guest safety The ideal candidate: 1+ years of prior relevant experience The perks & benefits: Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts as well as discounts with company partners on things like travel, electronics, online shopping, and more Free meals in our employee dining room Free parking on and off shift Health & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees) Professional and personal development through programs and networking opportunities as well as volunteer opportunities in the community
