Full Charge Bookkeeper
PeopleShare is looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper for a job in Pennsauken, NJ. This role combines bookkeeping (general ledger, credits, debits), with some light secondary sales support and customer support. This is a small company environment where you'll be your own boss, and have to be able to do this role without support from another member of the accounting team! Location: Pennsauken, NJ 08109 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Salary: $22-28/hr Duration: 4 month contract-to-hire We are a global leader in professional audio technology, and are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper with strong customer service skills. This role is primarily focused on managing daily financial operations while also providing support for sales and customer transactions. We're a fast-paced, collaborative small business environment, and we value precision, accountability, and proactive communication. Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records Record all financial transactions including sales, expenses, invoices, and payments Process accounts payable and receivable efficiently Reconcile bank and credit card statements Administer payroll and ensure tax withholdings and filings are accurate Prepare regular financial statements and summary reports for management Support compliance efforts, including tax documentation and reporting Monitor budget performance and assist in tracking inventory (as needed) Sales & Customer Support (Secondary Support)
Respond to customer inquiries related to invoices, payments, and account balances Handle billing issues, payment discrepancies, and refund requests Support the sales team with transaction processing and account updates Ensure clear and timely communication with customers regarding sales and service Requirements
Proven experience with bookkeeping software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, AccountEdge, or similar) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and/or Google Workspace tools Highly organized with strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team Strong communication skills and a customer-friendly demeanor Capable of multi-tasking and solving problems in real-time
