Fitness Class Instructor
Under direct supervision of the Sports Center Coordinator, is responsible for group instruction of various fitness classes, including Step Aerobics, Kick Boxing, Body Toning, Interval Aerobics, Pilates, strength training, physio ball, water aerobics, Yoga, Zumba and other classes; interact professionally and communicate effectively with participants and general public; adhere to class structural guidelines and time schedules; maintain patron safety in and around dance studios. Minimum age at time of hire is 18 years old. Professional certification(s) and experience in class instruction. Upon selection, additional requirements include: Valid California Driver's license. Must be certified by a nationally recognized certification organization such as A.C.E., A.F.A.A., or A.C.S.M. Fingerprint clearance (Department of Justice background check) if 18 years or older.
